Telecommunications Fundamentals Course
The telecommunications fundamental workshop incorporates the key skills a telecommunications worker requires in the workplace. These fundamental units are the first stage of the Certificate III in Telecommunications Technology and the Certificate III in Telecommunications Network Build and Operate.
This course incorporates the units of competency below:
BSBSUS401 Implement and monitor environmentally sustainable work practices
ICTCBL306 Locate and identify cable system faults
ICTTEN201 Use electrical skills in telecommunications work
ICTTEN202 Use hand and power tools
ICTTEN302 Install telecommunications network equipment
ICTWOR201 Work effectively in telecommunications technology
ICTWOR305 Supervise worksite activities
ICTWHS204 Follow work health and safety and environmental policy and procedure
