User Choice*

User Choice is a program to support on the job training through apprenticeships and traineeships.

The User Choice program is funded by the Queensland Government. Eligibility criteria apply, this program is intended for those already employed in industry.

Certificate 3 Guarantee Program*

Certificate 3 Guarantee is a program to help students who do not have a previous Certificate III or higher qualification undertake training funded by the Queensland Government.

The Certificate 3 Guarantee program is funded by the Queensland Government.

The program is open to any Queensland resident aged 15 years or over who is no longer at school (with the exception of VET in Schools students) and is an Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident or a temporary resident with the necessary visa and work permits on the pathway to permanent residency. Prospective students must not have or be enrolled in a Certificate III level or higher qualification, not including qualifications completed at school and foundations skills training. Once you complete a qualification through the Certificate 3 Guarantee program you will no longer be eligible for further subsidised training under this program. As a condition of your enrolment, you will be required to complete a student training and employment survey within three months of finishing or discontinuing your training.

Higher Level Skills program

Higher Level Skills program is designed to help students who wish to undertake further study in a Certificate IV or higher qualification.

The Higher Level Skills program is funded by the Queensland Government.

The program is open to any Queensland resident aged 15 years or over who is no longer at school (with the exception of VET in Schools students) and is an Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident or a temporary resident with the necessary visa and work permits on the pathway to permanent residency. Prospective students must not have or be enrolled in a Certificate IV level or higher qualification, not including qualifications completed at school and foundations skills training. Once you complete a qualification through the Higher Level Skills program you will no longer be eligible for further subsidised training under this program. As a condition of your enrolment, you will be required to complete a student training and employment survey within three months of finishing or discontinuing your training.
